the Law Office of Bonnie A. Berns, P.A., our goal is to provide
representation for our clients in a professional manner with the highest degree of integrity. At present our firm consists of one attorney, Bonnie A. Berns who has been in practice for over twenty-five years. She has a very diverse civil law background having practiced in family law, personal injury law, employment, probate, and many other areas of the law. The law firm has one paralegal who has had ten years of legal experience in civil law including civil litigation, personal injury, property damage, slip and fall, negligence, workers compensation and probate. We pride ourselves in providing efficient and prompt service for our clients. Client contact is important to us and therefore, once we are retained we have a 24 hour return phone call policy. By limiting her case load, as a small firm, Bonnie A. Berns provides personal and individual attention to each of her cases. The firm utilizes four computers each equipped with Windows XP and WordPerfect 12 and all computers are networked with each other. The computers data is saved and backed up on a daily basis. The law firm of Bonnie A. Berns has internet access for research on the internet.

The firm provides representation to the client in the following areas of civil law practice:
- Family Law: Divorce (from basic to complex; contested and uncontested), Post divorce litigation including enforcement of Final Judgements, Alimony, Paternity, Custody, Visitation, Child support, Modifications of Final Judgements, Grandparent rights, Injunctions and Agreements (before or after marriage).
- Personal Injury Law: Auto, truck, motorcycle accidents, boating accidents, pedestrian accidents, property damage, negligent security in hotels, parking lots, and apartment buildings, dog bite, slips and falls, pip claims.
- Employment Law: Contracts, Termination Agreements, Non-compete Clauses, Wage Disputes, Whistleblower cases, Discrimination based on age, race, sex, religion, disability and pregnancy discrimination.
- Probate Law: Complex and Basic; Administration and Litigation of estates with Wills and/or Trusts and without wills or trusts.
- Insurance Law: Claims against life, homeowners, business and automobile insurance companies.
